My first attempt as a correspondent!
My name is Kevin Barry this is my first attempt as a newspaper correspondent for the Staines & Egham News.
I love this dear old village of ours and get v upset when I see
all the changes that have been forced upon us by developers. I hope that my contributions will be of interest and intend to range far and wide and not just moan about developers.
What would be very nice if lots of people rang me and told things that I could use here, or better still use the comments section below.

TLC Charity Shop opens in Engelfield Green
I write regarding the opening of our first ever charity shop at 23 Victoria Street, Englefield Green, TW20 0QY. We are a very small UK charity dedicated to saving the lives of children and adults with kidney disease in developing countries. We send medical teams to these countries to perform life saving surgery, without which the patients would sadly live only a few months.
The charity was founded by Dr Jennie Jewitt-Harris, whoâÂÂs mother still lives in the village. Please take a look at our website if you get an opportunity at www.transplantlinks.org .
We hoping for some publicity in your newspaper . I have enclosed both a flyer and a photograph of the shop that you might be able to use. Please can you advise how we can get some coverage etc ?
