The Englefield Green Village Plan
Our Village Plan, which will be delivered to local residents is the result of many hours of hard work by Residents Association Chairman, Alan Fone and his team.
This document, an intelligent in-depth study of the village, its assets and its many problems.
It is based mainly on the views of residents at our Summer Fairs and surveys taken locally.
But, the biggest questions of all still remains - What Happens now? How do we organise ourselves so that we can achieving our targets?
The time honoured way with this kind of problem is to form a "committee" and leave it them, which usually means the committee do all the work and the rest complain that "they" are not doing the job properly!
On page 40 of the plan some of the key areas are identified and our views are asked about these, and other aspects of village life.

It would be a fitting response to Alan Fone and the team if they were overwhelmed by suggestions, ideas, and offers of help.
It is time for change in our wonderful village of Englefield Green; this plan shows us the way!
