Man dies in Englefield Green crash

A man died and another was injured during a crash on Egham Hill on Sunday (16) evening.
The incident happened shortly before 7pm when the 27-year-old male driver of a silver Vauxhall Astra lost control of the vehicle whilst travelling from Virginia Water towards Egham on the A30, London Road near Englefield Green.
It is believed the vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest on its wheels.
The driver and a 27-year-old male passenger were in the car at time.
One of the men was thrown from the car during the crash and the other had to be cut from the wreckage by firefighters from Egham.
Both were both taken to St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, where the man who was thrown from the car died from his injuries. He has not yet been identifired and it is not known whether he was the driver or passenger. The other male suffered minor injuries.
Surrey Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the crash and have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses.
