The road was closed following the incident, but repoened again shortly after 10.50am.

Firefighters from Egham were sent to the scene of the second collision, which took place in Callow Hill, Virginia Water, near the Olive Branch pub at around 9.30am on Tuesday, December 22, after a pensioner driving a blue Citroen Xsara left the road before the vehicle come to rest on its side.

The firefighters recovered the driver, a female in her seventies from the vehicle and gave her medical attention for approximately 20 minutes until paramedics arrive and took over.
