One hundred years of the Girl Guides will celebrated with a special centenary reunion of the 2nd Englefield Green Brownies and Guides group.

The reunion will take place on Saturday, February 27 from 2pm until 5pm at the Scout headquarters in Kings Lane. For more details contact Barbara Clark on 01784 432726.

A popular tv personality returns to the village for his second night of comedy.

'Argumental' star, Rufus Hounds returns to headline Comedy in the Green at Social Hall, Harvest Road, on Tuesday, February 23.

He will supported by Joe Lycett and Tom Craine with MC, Tom Price. Doors open at 7.45pm, show starts at 8.30pm at will contain strong language and adult themes.

A special church service will take place at St Jude's Church on Saturday, February 6 at 4pm.

The choir from St John's Beaumont School will be singing as part of the church's concerts which are held monthly.

Residents will be able to share their concerns about policing in the area during a panel meeting on Tuesday, February 9.

The meeting will be held at the Neighbourhood Police office on Ashwood Road and will be attended by officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Any issues of crime, anti-social behaviour of other policing matters can be raised face-to-face with the officers.
