Graham and Carmen Taylor were the proud parents of Sarah Taylor, 27, when she married Thomas Cates, 27, at the parish church of St Peter and St Andrew, in Old Windsor, on Saturday, October 22.

The new Mrs Cates, originally from Old Windsor, is a teacher at Englefield Green Infant School.

To wish her well on her special day, past and present children from the school gathered at the church gate with handmade arches for the bride and groom to walk through as family and friends showered them with confetti.

Usher at the service was the bride's brother, Peter Taylor. There were three best men and three bridesmaids.

Flowergirl for the wedding was the bride's three-year-old niece, Beatrice Cates.

After the church service, a reception was held at Great Fosters Hotel in Egham, where the revellers danced and celebrated late into the night.
