Star of BBC Radio 4's, The Now Show, Mitch Benn, is headlining this month's comedy night at the Social Hall on Harvest Road.
The March Comedy in the Green event takes place on Tuesday, March 23 at 8.30pm, doors from 7.45pm. Support will be from Elliott Tiney, Naz Osmanoglu, with Charlie Baker as MC.

One hundred years of the Girl Guides will celebrated with a special centenary reunion of the 2nd Englefield Green Brownies and Guides group.

Local historians, the Egham-by-Runnymede Historical Society meet tonight (Thursday, December 10) at the Literary Institute in the High Street for a talk by Egham Museum's Richard Williams.
Mr Williams, chairman of the society, will present a talk entitled 'Egham Past concluded'.
Pantomime season kicks off tonight in the village as the St Jude's Players open Beauty and the Beast.
The show runs until Saturday, December 12 at the Social Hall, Harvest Road, at 7.45pm with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.

A wine tasting evening will take place at the Jurgen Centre on Monday, November 16 at 7.30pm.
The evening, organised by Englefield Green Village Residents' Association, is free to members and entry is £5 to non-members.

An extremely rare brown shrike was spotted on Staines Moor prompting thousands of birdwatchers to drop everything and flock to the beauty spot over the last ten days to catch a view of the small brown spectacle.
