Concerned residents have the chance to air their views with beat officers at a panel meeting on Tuesday, March 23.

The meeting will be hosted by officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team in the police office in Ashwood Road at 7pm.

Residents are urged to come along and raise any issues or concerns they have about safety, crime or anti-social behaviour directly.

Star of BBC Radio 4's, The Now Show, Mitch Benn, is headlining this month's comedy night at the Social Hall on Harvest Road.

The March Comedy in the Green event takes place on Tuesday, March 23 at 8.30pm, doors from 7.45pm. Support will be from Elliott Tiney, Naz Osmanoglu, with Charlie Baker as MC.

A popular tv personality returns to the village for his second night of comedy.

'Argumental' star, Rufus Hounds returns to headline Comedy in the Green at Social Hall, Harvest Road, on Tuesday, February 23.

He will supported by Joe Lycett and Tom Craine with MC, Tom Price. Doors open at 7.45pm, show starts at 8.30pm at will contain strong language and adult themes.

Local historians, the Egham-by-Runnymede Historical Society meet tonight (Thursday, December 10) at the Literary Institute in the High Street for a talk by Egham Museum's Richard Williams.

Mr Williams, chairman of the society, will present a talk entitled 'Egham Past concluded'.

A charity pub crawl to raise funds for Help for Heroes takes place on Friday, December 18, starting at the Barley Mow at 6pm.

The event organised by a group of footballing friends a few years ago has carried on, but now taken on a more charitable form.

Anyone is welcome to join the lads on their fundraising evening, which will finish at the Red Lion in Egham, taking in six other pubs on the way.

A pianist will be performing exerpts from classical composers at the United Church on Sunday, December 13 at 3pm.

The free concert will include 'Pictures at an Exhibition' by Mussorgsky and Sonata in A Minor by Schubert.

Pantomime season kicks off tonight in the village as the St Jude's Players open Beauty and the Beast.

The show runs until Saturday, December 12 at the Social Hall, Harvest Road, at 7.45pm with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.

Las Vegas partying comes to the village with special Christmas party nights at the Savill Court Hotel beginning on Thursday, December 3.

Large or small groups can make up a table at a Las Vegas themed 'join a party night'.

The Great Hall will be transformed into a Las Vegas show venue with showgirls, Hollywood style cocktails and live entertainment from 'Rat Pack' impersonators, plus casino fun.

Concern for a missing person prompted a massive police search in Englefield Green tonight (November 17).

Nineteen police cars, four police vans - including a specialist search and rescue unit, two dog handling units and two police helicopters were called in to aid with the search of woodland around the village green for an Ascot man in his mid-fifties police say had been missing since Monday afternoon.

Hundreds of poppy-wearers observed two-minutes silence at one of the most picturesque memorials in the county for Remembrance Day today (Sunday, November 8).

At 11am, more than two hundred people made no peep as Reveille piped out and filled the grounds of the Royal Air Forces Memorial on Cooper's Hill, Englefield Green, where the names of 20,000 service men who lost their lives fighting for their country are etched on its walls.
